Head Chef Brian Grigor of Michelin Starred Number One at The Balmoral Launches This Weekend's Foodies Festival Edinburgh at Inverleith Park 5th - 7th August

Head Chef Brian Grigor of Michelin-starred Number One at The Balmoral joined Foodies Festival this morning to officially launch this weekend's festival at Inverleith Park 5th - 7th August.

Ahead of his demo in the Chefs Theatre, head Chef Brian created a unique Michelin-star ice-cream inspired by The Balmoral's signature smoked salmon, horseradish and caviar dish.

After a record breaking 10th anniversary festival last year, which welcomed over 38,000 visitors, Foodies Festival has once again increased the size of its Inverleith Park festival, making way for more award-winning producers, street food from around the world, food & drink masterclasses and foodie fun - promising visitors the tastiest day out in Scotland.

Highlights of this year's festival include Scotland's Michelin-star and top chefs cooking in the Chefs Theatre, a Vintage Tea Tent, Artisan Producers Market, Giant Pimm's Teapot and Rum Bus, Street Food Avenue, Cake & Bake Theatre, Kids Cookery School and a Live Music Stage.
