We are delighted to announce that Tron Bar & Kitchen will play host to a two-day celebration of all things vegan. After the success of the Vegan pop-up market event which took place earlier in 2018, Tron Bar & Kitchen will be holding a second Vegan pop-up market event on Thursday 19 April (5pm -8pm), followed by an exclusive Mediterranean Vegan Tasting Menu event on Friday 20 April.
Featuring over 10 of Scotland’s finest vegan food suppliers, the evening pop-up event will be another ideal opportunity for those looking to stock up on high-quality locally sourced vegan produce. Visitors will be able to enjoy live handpan music from samadhi soundscapes while they shop for vegan and ethical snacks and ingredients.
Confirmed suppliers for Thursday’s pop-up market include: Roaming Vegan Bakers, Roots, Fruits and Flowers, Cool Jerk Vegan Pies, Glasgow Distillery, In-Bloom, I-Zen Juices, Fry Coconut Island, Rawsmary, Choc-a-lot by Karuna, Glasgow Kimchi Co., Almighty Foods and Bottle of Ginger.
If you’re not still full, join them on Friday 20 April, when Tron Bar & Kitchen’s Executive Head Chef Mark Mackenzie will be developing an exclusively curated vegan menu. For one night only, enjoy the quintessential flavours of the Mediterranean in specially-developed plant-based dishes. From creamy charred courgette arancini to wild mushroom & Quorn ravioli, the Mediterranean Vegan Tasting Menu is bound to impress both vegans and non-vegans alike. So come on down and join in an unmissable two-day celebration of Scotland’s finest vegan fare.
The full menu available online at: http://www.tronbarandkitchen.co.uk/news-offers and the cost is a very reasonable £20 per head (£22.50 for wine pairings).
